The green and digital transition is one of the European Union’s key priorities, and according to Sustainable and Smart Mobility Strategy and Action Plan of the EU, sustainable and smart mobility should be supported by innovation and digitalisation to ensure making connected and automated multimodal mobility a reality and boosting innovation and the use of data and artificial intelligence (AI) for smarter mobility and transport infrastructure.
