The Digizity initiative, part of the Strategic Project for the Recovery and Economic Transformation of the Electric and Connected Vehicle (PERTE VEC), has concluded after two years of work. The vast majority of passengers who have tested the autonomous and efficient bus service in the city of Zaragoza have rated it as good or very good.

Digizity is part of Zaragoza City Council's integrated model aimed at promoting sustainable and digitized mobility with the transition from private vehicles to public transport to create a zero-emissions city. With a total budget of more than 9 million euros, it has been financed by European Next Generation funds.

The company Avanza, in collaboration with the city council, has led the project. Five other companies and three technological centers have also participated: ITA from Aragón, CTAG from Galicia and Tecnalia from the Basque Country.
