Overview

Novadays is a global research and consulting firm, specialized in public management and public policy. More than 300 governments and multilateral entities have relied to date on the professional services of the firm.

The firm's business is distributed globally between Europe (55%), the Americas (23%), Africa (15%) and Asia-Oceania (7%), reflecting the global nature of Novadays' activity.

The company's clients are concentrated in the public sector, among national governments (36%), regional governments (32%), local governments of large cities (16%) and other public institutions (9%). Civil society entities account for the rest of Novadays' activities (7%).

Who we are

Founded in 2005, Novadays, faithful to its principles and values as a consulting firm specialized in public management and public policy, firmly believes that proper public management and the correct design and implementation of public policies is essential to achieve positive and lasting results, effects and impacts for the benefit of society.

Consulting, in the form of different forms of advice or assistance, allows us to work in various sectors of public policy and for a wide range of governments at different levels (national, regional and local) and countries.

Since 2005, we have worked proactively in close proximity to our clients and with a true public service vocation, where trust and reliability in what we do have been key to successfully manage more than 400 public and public-private projects to date.

Public sector consulting firms are professional services firms that advise governments and public entities in the design of their actions (public policies) and their execution (public management).

Novadays is a highly specialized public sector consulting company. We study, design, implement and evaluate projects and actions that can improve society; whether they are promoted by the public sector or arise from the private sector but must be developed in collaboration with the public sector.

Vocation of public service

In Novadays we understand that consulting work must be linked to the experience and professionalism of the people working in this field. How do we work?

The public policy cycle

Novadays works comprehensively in all stages of the public policy cycle. These stages are:

Identification of the problem

In this phase, the problem or challenge that needs to be addressed is recognized and defined. The current situation is analyzed and the public needs that must be resolved through public policies are identified.

Policy formulation

Possible solutions to the identified problem are designed. At this stage, proposals are developed, objectives are defined, available alternatives are explored and evaluated, and the most appropriate strategies to address the problem are established.

Implementation

It consists of implementing the chosen policies. In this phase, action plans are developed, resources are allocated and the actions necessary to implement the public policy are managed.

Evaluation

After implementing the policy, the results, effects and impacts obtained are evaluated. An analysis is made of whether the objectives have been achieved, what impact the policy has had on the population and whether the expected changes have been generated. The evaluation may be continuous or at the end of a given period.

Feedback and adjustment

Based on the results obtained in the evaluation, policies are adjusted as necessary. If the objectives have not been achieved or if new problems arise, modifications can be made or even a new policy formulation cycle can be initiated.
