How does the Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment of the Community of Madrid manage its projects funded by NextGenerationEU?

The Challenge Addressed

The management of any initiative promoted by or of interest to the Community of Madrid, especially when it is financed by the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan or other European funds, is a major legal, technical, economic and administrative challenge.

The dimensions of this challenge are manifested in the different objectives pursued by the regional government: the success of any project is associated with the public interest underlying it, the correct execution and justification of the funds, the maximization of the advantages or benefits (in the case of the eight subprojects of Component 23, of a training, labor and social nature) that are intended to reach their ultimate beneficiaries and the reputation of the public managers.
reputation of public managers.

In this sense, the complexity of the challenge and its dimensions entails the constant existence of risks, contingencies, eventualities and other types of situations that, if not adequately foreseen and corrected, could result in the non-fulfillment of public objectives.
