Science and innovation

We develop innovation strategies and policies, management and implementation of R&D projects, knowledge and technology transfer, and promotion of public-private collaboration.

Our experience in the science and innovation sector

Our teams have accumulated extensive experience working for the main actors of the Spanish Science-Technology-Business System, being regular advisors to the main public organizations of the system, such as the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities, the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT), the Center for Technological and Industrial Development (CDTI) or the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC).

In particular, we were pioneers in this field by evaluating for the first time a grant program (Evaluation of the ATYCA Program and the PROFIT Program) and conducting major studies, plans and evaluations:

  • Benchmarking of national science foundations or the map of R&D&I system agents and their functions).
  • The first FECYT Strategic Plan.
  • Sector Technology Plans.
  • Study of the Scientific and Technological Policies of the Aerospace Sector,
  • Comparative Study of the Researchers' Career in more than 14 countries for the improvement of the career through the new Science Law.
  • Evaluation of the National Strategic Consortia for Technological Innovation Program (CENIT)
  • Launch of Fundraising for Science, Large Project Management for CSIC in Energy Crops, etc.

In recent years, our main contribution to the national R&D&I system has been the import of innovative procurement models to Spain, through Pre-commercial Public Procurement and Public Procurement of Innovative Technology, as well as the evaluation of the largest R&D&I aid scheme in Spain (Evaluation of CDTI Programs).

Novadays experts advise these and other agencies with competencies on innovation policies throughout the entire cycle of innovation policy management, adapting to the needs of each of them at all times.
