Fuerteventura Technology Park expands market opportunities in the aerospace sector

Parque Tecnológico de Fuerteventura SA MP (PTFSA) held this Tuesday, May 20, the opening event of the second Preliminary Market Consultation in the framework of the Canarias Geo Innovation Program 2030.

The objective is to gather the necessary information from economic operators to prepare, in the coming years, one or several eventual public contracts within the framework of the program and informing of PTFSA plans and procurement requirements for the development and consolidation in the Fuerteventura Technology Park of a European reference center in the integration, development, certification, maintenance and operation of unmanned aerospace systems (UAS), as well as in the creation and deployment of innovative solutions in the fields of emergencies, security, biodiversity, defense, mobility or communications.

This event, which was developed in face-to-face and online format, and will serve to advance the Public Procurement of Innovation (PPI) processes of Parque Tecnológico de Fuerteventura initiated in 2018, reinforcing the role of the entity in the development of operations with UAS platforms, especially persistent flight, and in the development of innovative solutions from the analysis of data (Data Analytics) obtained from the sensors embarked on them.

Since 2018, Parque Tecnológico de Fuerteventura has been executing ten strategic projects, mobilizing more than 100 million euros and consolidating partnerships with leading institutions and companies at national and European level.

The Consultation opens a new opportunity for companies of all sizes and research centers to submit proposals that will help define the future lines of the program. The deadline for participation will remain open until June 20, 2025.
