The Regional Government of Castilla y León promotes a center of excellence in cybersecurity applied to connected mobility.

10/02/2024

The Junta de Castilla y León is calling on the cybersecurity and automotive industries to create a center of excellence in cybersecurity for connected mobility, which should position the Community as a benchmark in the research and development of technology to achieve connected and safe vehicles.

With this objective, the Institute for Business Competitiveness of Castilla y León has made public a Preliminary Market Consultation in the framework of the Project "Cybersecurity Nodes Network (ARGOS NETWORK)" selected by the Program "RETECH: Territorial Networks of Technological Specialization, Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, financed by the European Union - Next Generation EU", for the search of innovative solutions to address the challenge related to a Center of Excellence in cybersecurity applied to connected mobility in Castilla y León, whose details can be accessed through this link.

With this CPM and the possible subsequent tender, the aim is to make Castilla y León carbon neutral and fully circular, contemplating sustainable transport and mobility as an essential element for the ecological transition in the Community, including the development of electric, connected, autonomous and sustainable vehicles.

Novadays, in its role as Technical Office for the ICE's Public Procurement of Innovation and in execution of the investment program ESCALA CPI, accompanies the Institute in the creation of this center of excellence, putting at its disposal a wide technical knowledge in sustainable mobility and, in particular, in the creation of relevant environments for experimentation in mobility, activity that was previously carried out in cities such as Donostia - San Sebastian, Malaga, Madrid or Zaragoza. On the other hand, the experience accumulated by the company in the design of the largest CPI program in Cybersecurity in Europe and in its technical execution also contributes to increase the chances of the Junta de Castilla y León to achieve success with this public investment.

The Junta de Castilla y León is committed to supporting cybersecurity and the automotive industry through a pioneering project for the creation of a center of excellence.

Novadays brings all its experience in the design and implementation of large investments in cybersecurity and mobility through public-private initiatives.

Novadays will support Zaragoza City Council in the electrification of one of the largest public transport fleets in the country.
