SECTORS
We design policies and actions of various actors in the sector for the sustainable management of the integral water cycle and the optimization of water resources.
The management and optimization of water resources is not only a technical or technological issue, but also involves the consideration of social, institutional, legal and financial aspects that must be addressed in an integrated and coordinated manner.
Our support consists of designing and implementing industrial and innovation policies that favor the adoption and use of digital technologies for water management.
In this sense, it involves not only the use of innovative technologies, but also the definition and implementation of public policies that facilitate and encourage this process, and ensure that its benefits are shared by all stakeholders involved in the water sector. These public policies should take into account the different levels and dimensions of water management, from the local to the global, and from the technical to the social, and should promote collaboration, transparency, participation and accountability in the sector.
It is a process that requires a strategic vision, intersectoral coordination, continuous and systematic investment, appropriate regulation, ongoing training, citizen participation and constant evaluation to ensure its viability, effectiveness and sustainability, and to maximize its contribution to social welfare.
There is a wide range of disruptive and emerging technologies that are applied in the process of digitalization of the water cycle, obtaining multiple benefits and impacts, from improved knowledge and prediction of the hydrological cycle, optimization of planning and management of water resources, to the promotion of industries focused on developing strategic technologies and markets in this area, among other aspects.
