15/01/2022

The water sector and, in particular, the public entities responsible for the management of the water cycle in the different Spanish basins and regions are facing a major modernization process, through investments in their digitalization and green transformation, which are financed with funds from the entities themselves or with funds from the European Union, regional funds or from the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan.

In this context, Novadays has been awarded the tender to manage the Technical Office of the Innovaugas 4.0 project by the entity responsible for the management of this cycle in Galicia, Augas de Galicia. For four years, Novadays will provide technical, legal and financial support to Augas, to make an investment of more than 7 million euros in the modernization of the entire Galician water system.

Three challenges will make up the main object of these investments, being executed through public procurement procedures for innovation, with the aim of creating new solutions that improve those existing today in the market and allow Augas de Galicia to strengthen its position as a reference entity in the incorporation of technology in the management of the water cycle.

With this project, Novadays increases its national and international experience in large projects in the water sector, while continuing its expansion as an expert in digital and green transformation of the public sector.
