Expo 92 in Seville astonished the world with its modern transportation, such as the gondola or the monorail, which moved millions of users during the six months of the universal exhibition. Three decades later, the Expo wants to once again be a pioneer in the world of sustainable mobility.

The Cartuja Science and Technology Park in Seville will invest almost four million euros in the search for innovative solutions to meet one of its main challenges: improving mobility on this "island", which is becoming increasingly complex due to the sharp growth in the number of companies (almost 600), employees (some 30,000 daily) and users (more than 10,000 each day, the vast majority of whom are university students).

The Andalusian Regional Government has opened this week a Preliminary Market Consultation (PMC) to implement in Cartuja "new zero-emission and high-tech mobility systems that will allow to respond to the important challenges related to mobility, the use of space and the increase of green areas that the park will address in the coming years".
