Bilbao expands its haurreskola network with 104 new free public places.

The Bilbao City Council's Education Department has launched two new initiatives at the Zamakola High School and the Txurdinaga Primary School. These initiatives will create 104 new, free public preschool places (ages 0-2) in the city.

Both initiatives are part of the collaboration protocol with the Basque Government and have European funding through the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, financed by the European Union (Next Generation EU), specifically within the framework of Component C21.I1. Creation of publicly-funded places in the first cycle of early childhood education (primarily for 1 and 2-year-olds).
