Spanish Government and Cabildo de La Gomera advance in the materialization of the Gomera 36 Strategy.

The Government of Spain and the Cabildo of La Gomera have initiated the process of materialization of the first phase of the Gomera 36 Strategy, after the provision of two million euros for the creation of the management office and the technical team that will be in charge of coordinating the set of more than 200 projects aimed at advancing in the transformation towards a green island and facing the challenge of decarbonization, improving the water cycle, waste management and sustainable mobility. In addition, the Gomera 36 Strategy aims to increase the quality of life on the island, promote training and employment, together with greater investment in R+D+i.

The president of the Cabildo, Casimiro Curbelo, discussed the progress made so far with the third vice-president and minister of Ecological Transition and Demographic Challenge, Teresa Ribera, and the minister of Territorial Policy and Democratic Memory, Ángel Víctor Torres.
