Five new Innovative Public Procurement specifications

22/10/2017

Novadays collaborates with the Galician Innovation Agency (GAIN) in the realization of five new innovative public procurement tenders through the competitive dialogue procedure, for the acquisition of solutions to improve the management of XUNTA services through the use of unmanned vehicles. These five tenders are the first of the Solutions Phase of the Civil UAVS Iniative, a strategic initiative of the XUNTA and the Government of Spain for the development of the aerospace sector in this Spanish region.

The innovative public procurement specifications are the result of months of work characterized by the collaboration between all the departments of the Xunta de Galicia and the private sector, through a market consultation process led by GAIN. The object of the specifications covers a wide range of public services and, therefore, affects practically all the policies promoted by the Xunta.

Novadays, under the technical office contract it holds with the XUNTA for the implementation of the Civil UAVs Iniative, has provided technical, financial and legal advice for the determination of the basic characteristics of this innovative public procurement, with the analysis of the solutions to be acquired, the prioritization of some over others, and the development of the tender documents. Novadays team is integrated with the own teams of several departments of the regional government, collaborating to achieve the objectives in the most efficient and effective way possible.
