The cybersecurity of public administrations and strategic sectors has become a key factor in the digital transformation of both the public sector and the most important economic sectors, such as energy, transportation, infrastructure, high technology and financial services.

In this regard, the Government of Spain included in its Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan - the Spanish plan for the implementation of the Recovery and Resilience Mechanism in the country - investments of more than 500 million euros in three areas aimed at strengthening the country's cybersecurity Capabilities and the transformation of this industry over the next few years.

The National Institute of Cybersecurity (INCIBE), as an instrument of the Secretary of State for Digital Transformation, of the Ministry of Economy, has entrusted Novadays with the design of the initiative to support the industry, which will materialize in investments worth more than 260 million euros in public procurement of R & D services and solutions that respond to the challenges of the public sector and strategic sectors.

Novadays has designed the strategy of this initiative and its main instruments, identifying and characterizing seven actions that will not only achieve the expected results, but also generate a series of effects and impacts on the industry, on the economy and on the Spanish society aligned with the transformation ambitions behind the Recovery and Resilience Mechanism - NextGeneration EU.

With this project, Novadays consolidates its position as a leading company in Spain in the design of strategic initiatives and new industrial policy programs, as a key player in the digital transformation of the public sector and as an expert in the use of public procurement as a strategic element of public policies. On the other hand, this project adds to the set of Novadays' actions under the PRTR, in which the company has already participated in the design and programming of investments worth more than 5,000 million euros, for various managing bodies.
