Mobility and micromobility continue to transform Bilbao's streets. In small, unnoticed ways, there are pedestrianizations, urban elevators, speed limits, bike lanes... Everything adds up. Because in this equation, the result is always positive. Even when analyzing the implementation of all these measures together or separately.

The latest example relates to the implementation of the first phase of the famous Low Emission Zones (LEZ) in the city center. On average, 3,000 fewer vehicles have entered the zone each day; this means that environmental and noise pollution have also been reduced in parallel. The data, as Nora Abete summarized, "places us on a positive trend and shows us the path to follow." According to the reading of license plates and labels recorded by the City Council's cameras at the entrances to the LEZ, during the month of May, 6.64% of vehicles entering had a 0 sticker; 16.83% had a different Eco sticker; 50.99% had a C sticker; 18.72% had a B sticker; and 3.15% were vehicles without a sticker. The remainder were foreign vehicles.
