The Community of Madrid has reaffirmed its commitment to the self-employed and entrepreneurs by allocating in 2024 nearly 26 million euros in aid that has benefited more than 11,000 self-employed workers in the region.

This was emphasized today by the Councilor for Economy, Finance and Employment, Rocío Albert, during the Roundtable of the Self-Employed and the Social Economy, a forum for dialogue between the Administration and the organizations of the sector held at the headquarters of the Council.

Albert stressed the importance of these policies to strengthen Madrid's entrepreneurial ecosystem, highlighting that "self-employment continues to grow steadily and constitutes a fundamental part of the productive fabric of our community". In this line, he recalled that the Madrid Strategy for Employment 2025/27 will include 15 specific measures for self-employed and social economy companies, with a budget of 83.4 million euros.
