The Ministry of Public Works of the Government of Spain has awarded Novadays with the study of the financial and economic situation of land transport companies 2006-2017, after a competitive bidding process in which five companies participated.
Novadays' public sector economics team will carry out this important study, which consolidates the series started more than 20 years ago by the Ministry of Public Works, but which had been interrupted since 2006. Novadays will also integrate the data and results of previous studies conducted by the consulting firms Arthur Andersen and Deloitte.
The project involves the analysis of the economic and financial data of more than 50,000 companies in the road passenger transport sector (public and occasional, urban and interurban), freight transport and logistics.
The study will allow, among other things, to know the effect of the 2008-2013 economic crisis on the road transport sector, as well as the terms in which these companies have or have not recovered competitiveness after the end of the economic crisis.
The completion of this study strengthens Novadays as a reference company in the field of transport consulting.
