Artificial intelligence (AI) will change the way quality processes are carried out and managed in industrial plants. Stellantis Zaragoza leads a consortium that brings together six SMEs, three of them from Aragon, and two research and technological development centers -Instituto Tecnológico de Aragón and Universidad de Zaragoza- with the aim of researching and industrializing, as well as disseminating, the implementation of cutting-edge technologies in quality inspection.

"Currently, some quality inspection processes are still carried out quite manually, and AI is essential to improve the plant's competitiveness and to continue with the high level of quality demands that our customers expect," says Stellantis Zaragoza. AI in quality inspection, they believe, "complements the work of our inspectors and helps us to guarantee our objectives".
